One wedding, two places: make the timing clear
Before designing your wedding invitation card, confirm the couple’s names, wedding date, ceremony venue and reception venue. Write an arrival time for each part that the guest is invited to attend. A beautiful design cannot fix a missing location or unclear time.
For a celebration in Dar es Salaam, include the recognised venue name and useful directions. Guests travelling from outside the city may need an earlier invitation so they can arrange transport and accommodation.
Design a wedding card that reads well on a phone
Use Card Studio to adjust the names, typography, colours, photographs and layout. Choose a decorative style for the main names, but keep the date, venue and reply instructions readable at normal phone size.
Preview your digital wedding card with a family member before sending. Check spelling, contrast and whether long names still fit. Sample names on our website are illustrations; replace them with your own details.
Set expectations for guests and companions
Agree who is included in each invitation before importing the guest list. A family invitation, a single invitation and an invitation for a couple can lead to different seating and catering needs. Make the wording explicit and keep a responsible contact for questions.
Set an RSVP deadline before your caterer needs final numbers. A confirmed response is more useful than assuming that every SMS recipient will attend.
Test the invitation, then send personal links
Add the guest names and phone numbers, remove duplicates and review the estimated credit use. Send a test to a consenting recipient and ask them to open the card and check the details before the full campaign.
An invitation send uses one card credit per guest, including the SMS containing the personal link. Custom follow-up SMS and reminders use wallet funds. Review the current pack prices and your campaign estimate before paying or sending.
Bring the RSVP list to the reception
Follow the replies, contact guests who need help and review failed or uncertain messages. A delivery report is useful, but it does not prove someone has read the invitation.
Before the wedding day, give your reception team the appropriate check-in access and test a QR invitation on a phone. Arrange charged devices, connectivity and a suitable backup guest list. ShereheCloud provides the tools; you choose your venue, caterer and event team.
